The challenge
Rural doctors have long fought for improved access to digital health services to provide essential services to health consumers.
The outcome
Articulous brought together clinicians, health consumers, health services providers, innovators, Federal health bureaucrats and the National Digital Health Agency to develop an agreed set of priorities to improve digital health.
Stakeholders were gathered from across Australia to identify and agree the biggest policy, data, research and service delivery challenges. This involved discussions around
- How to deliver services equitably
- How to overcome technology challenges
- Consumers with co-morbidities and limited access to specialist services
- Health care for indigenous communities
The forum resulted in consensus actions to develop an agreed plan.
