Articulous was entrusted by the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority to deliver collateral for the ‘Love the Reef’ marketing campaign – intended to educate everyday Australians about the sanctity of the Great Barrier Reef and the need for greater environment protection of the asset.
Having worked with the Marine Park Authority team on several landmark projects previously, our in-house creative team were equipped to work with their modernised company brand and apply a cohesive look and feel across the range collateral required. The Love the Reef project was being delivered alongside the Authorities new brand identity and we worked closely with the team to ensure the first project in the new brand delivered.
As innovators in design, our staff brought bold and creative ideas to fruition in the delivery of the campaign, producing a ‘Love the Reef’ toolkit and suite of promotional videos.
The Toolkit was developed to support the organic presence of the ‘Love the Reef’ Campaign, to inspire awareness, education, advocacy, and action to call on people to protect the Reef for future generations. The toolkit provides background to the campaign and advice on how to get involved with key action groups, complete with design resources, downloadable assets and supporting campaign material. Applying the new brand across the campaign collateral and toolkit called for the design look and feel to elevated, bolder and more accessible, which was achieved through the strategic use of typography, signature colours and key imagery.
A video animation and social media video clips were also produced by Articulous to communicate the campaign message.
